Regardless of whether the X5 will get the ///M treatment, I was highly
intrigued by Satch's article in Roundel this month.  Especially the
part where he said that BMW is still open to a 5-speed X5.

Having promised myself that I'd never own a slushbox, that's a
wonderful option if I ever decide to enter the SUV arena <shudder>.

Maybe I'll just pick up a nice iX instead...
