MZ3 in SF (WOB)

Walking through the rainy streets of San Francisco
to the Mandarin Oriental hotel (there are worse places
to rack), I saw a silver MZ3 with New Jersey plates.  In
the entry way was a sight familiar to you SoCal's, a
goooooooooogeous blonde being primped while the
light, camera and sound guys stood in the rain, waiting.
(Heck, I stood in the rain, and I wasn't being paid to)

It turns out that Blondie was German, and it appeared
they were shooting some sort of "Blondie Tours SF"
bit.  I'm still not sure how the NJ car got out to SF.  I can
only assume its a BMW NA car, contributed to the cause.

I'm curious if any of the digest cognescenti have the
scoop on this.

Lastly, it seems that the new year is in full bloom.  The
last two digests had both the "Bon Ami question" and
the "which radar detector ..." question.  I wait anxiously
for the first "how often should I change my oil?" thread.
