RE: bigger wheels on '90 325 iC?

Mark, you most likely want to go wider as well as taller (wheel, not overall
combo).

205/60-14 on the stock 6.5" / 30 mm offset is a +0 first step.  205/55-15 or
preferred 225/50-15 on 7" / 24-26 mm offset or 7.5" / 18-20 mm.  225/45-16
on 7 or 7.5" as above, but not recommended as there are few tires available
in that size. 8" would most likely rub / not fit. As the width increases,
wheel gets closer to the fender, so you increase the offset slightly to pull
the wheel in.

Offset is adjusted by dividing the width increase by 2 and subtracting that
from the original.  6.5" / 30 mm -> 7"; .5", 12.5 mm incr. / 2 = 6.25, 30 -
6.25 =~24 mm (increase slightly remember).

Be sure to get a 4x100 mm bolt circle, and the correct hub hole dia. Stick
with the 225/50-15, it will be fine with the most choices available.
