There is simply no denying that vehicles flex when lifted, especially on older
vehicles that are jacked "unevenly."  (Even tube-chassis racing vehicles are
braced to the Bejesus to fight distortion...)  Suspension components, brakes,
wheels and tires make noises, to be sure; but I try never to jack my car by
one corner - especially by the jack points on the rockers.  (I am not paranoid
- - everyone really is out to get me!!!)
