Yoko Nexus v.cheap at Tire Rack

Was looking at the Tire Rack web site for possible tires & noted that
they are closing out Yokohama Nexus at AE Sport-like prices :

205/55-16 - $105
225/50-16 - $135 
235/45-17 - $107
255/40-17 - $139

Given that this is about 40% of what you'd pay for S-02's or MXX3's in
comparable sizes, the slight decrease in ultimate performance can be
invested in :

1) something nice for the family for the holidays

2) a year's supply of Rolling Rock (or Bass Ale or Guiness or whatever
you like).

3) driving school/track time fund

4) bail for the next trip to Bermuda

5) etc.
