My New M3

Thank for all the suggestions guys.  I thought I'd clear up my purpose
for the car.  And see if this alters anyones perspective.  

First, I do not plan to race the vehicle.  Nor do I travel the autobahn.
It's my "everyday car" and as such need to be comfortable, esp. because
I take LONG roadtrips.  That is not to say I don't drive fast, in fact I
love peeling off the corner and smoking the cars next to me... 

Second, Modifications I am looking for would be geared toward riding
comfort, engine performance (for the quick peel) and engine efficiency
(ok, the last two are usually direct opposites).  Yea, it'd be great to
have a cool sounding exhast, but if I can hear the stereo as i'm driving
cross country, it's not worth it.

Third, My only question to the "Wait a while" state is this:  Why would
I want to learn to drive a car, then totally alter the car, and have to
re-learn to drive it?  If i was to replace the
engine/brakes/suspension/etc I would think that it would totally alter
the feel/ride of the car and anything I'd learn before would be
pointless.
