service light reset;-)

Hello Everyone,
Accomplish a service light reset on my 94 325i;-) Ignition must be on
FIRST,then pins 7/19 jumped. Doesnt work jumping then turning on ignition.
Thank you all for the help. Saved $55.00
Next fix... differential side seals. Anybody ever replace these??
