The small has that attaches to the crankcase vent hose fitting just above
the 
oil filter goes to a fitting opposite the throttle valve under the intake
manifold.  
The primary function of the fitting is to make connection to the idle
control 
valve or auxiliary air valve.   This valve is connected to the fitting that
the small 
hose also attached to via a candy cane shaped hose that is viewable by 
looking back under the intake manifold from the top of the oil filter.
