You get your hands on your SO's iron when no one is looking, put a small bit
of wax paper between the iron and the nylon and press the thing flat.  Time
and temperature are VERY important to keep from melting more than you
planned, but this will do three things:

1.  Make a nice uniform flat "button".
2.  Keep you from screwing up a perfectly good soldering iron tip!
3.  Get you thinking about kitchen and other domestic utensils and tools as
potential replacements for the Snap On's you will not win in the Superbowl
contest, 'cause my guess is that Duane already has the spread figured...
