E30 M3 springs on a 325



E30 M3 springs are obviously designed around the weight of the 4 cylinder
S14.
The front swaybar is smaller than the 325 20mm "is" piece.  What makes the
package
work is the swaybar has a superior mounting on the M3 (to the strut) which
increases its effectiveness.

I find pulling struts to be a PITA.  Why throw a pair of M3 springs in?
Yes they will lower
your car, but not add to its handling.  Eibach, Intrax, H&R make great
replacment springs
that will enhance your handling not just lower your car.
If your going to put new springs in..make it a one time job unless your a
track junkie
then your talking about coil-overs.  The M3 swaybars are a waste of time
with a stock set of springs
on a 325 since they are smaller in the front (unless you weld a tab to the
strut as Tom pointed out,
then keep your 325is bar and just buy the drop links, $20 each).  The rear
M3 bar is only .5mm bigger.

IMO, spring rate and shocks should accomplish 90% of your handling;
Fine tune your car's suspension with swaybars.  Swaybar changes are easy
and relatively painless.

I tried to give away a set of M3 front springs & f/r swaybars about 4
months ago.  No takers.
They are going to be door prizes for a New Years party now.

Spend the $250 or so for some H&R springs that are stiffer and lower than
stock, but still provide
benefits in the handling department.
