transmission for E-30 325

does anyone know if a 5 speed tranny from an 87-91 325e/es/i/is will fit in a
86 325es ?
what about 84-85 325's ??? i know about the shift plate and shifters just need
to know compatability of them all.....
any difference inside the tranny?
is this the GETRAG 260??? please give me the right term.....
any marking to diiferentiate them all????
