<E30> rear shock mounts

1) Symptoms of a failing shock mount are rattles coming from the rear.
 However, the culprit can also be loose shock mount-to-body nuts, as
well as worn subframe bushings.  The squeaking you describe doesn't
sound like worn shock mounts.

2) The iC mounts are frequently recommended because they're beefier
than standard mounts.  However, they do cost a bit more (somewhere
around $28 vs $18, if I remember correctly).  Also, in the latest
Roundel, Jenny Morgan (?) said that the iC mounts wear out at about
the same rate as the standard mounts -- so save your bucks!
