An open letter to the folks of BMW CCA and the LA Chapter:

	THANK YOU.  THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!!!!!  The Nurburgring West 
driver's school at Laguna Seca this past weekend was AWESOME!  
Everything from the Saturday bar-b-que to the skid pad to the run 
groups was organized perfectly.  And, the organizers even arranged 
for perfect weather for the weekend.  I can't believe I waited this 
long to attend a driver's school.  As everyone says, if you haven't 
gone, you don't know what you're missing.  There are too many people 
to all thank by name, but I would like to extend a personal thanks to 
my instructor, Erik Sharp.  He was very patient with me (especially 
in turn 6), and he is clearly an INCREDIBLE driver.  So, it looks 
like I'll have to start looking for ... a helmet, harness, stickier 
tires, etc. etc.  I'm hooked.
