E30 M3 3.0

i saw the pictures and it looks really impressive.
so far, i have seen this conversion as well as a 3.5l engine stuffed into the 
E30 body
i spoke to someone and he said that he could put in the euro 3.2 into the E30 
M3
is this possible???
he said that the US engine conversion would costs about $12-15000.
any ideas on costs and performance figures?
what about weight transfer or weight ratio?
