Subject:  Reply: M-coupe/roadster shifter on 1.9 Z3




Jeff,

Maybe someone will correct me if I'm wrong here but from our
Shifterfest in Seattle, an M roadster lever (sorry, can't remember if
it was bent or straight, assume bent) did not work on the 1.9 Z3.  It
made contact with (the driveshaft?) in one or two gears.  This *was*
before Ben came out with the ERK unit, so as always, a big YMMV.
