E36 charging system

Recently, I've noticed that the charging system on my 92 325is is knida
weak... if you look closely, you can see that the headlights, interior lights,
and obc illumination dims and flickers sometimes, but when you rev at idle
they firm up ?!?! Is this a weak alternator?
