Oil Starvation... what cost?

O.K. enough already.  

We've all been braced for the sticker shock associated with upgrading to
the LTW Oilpan Kit, and yes, I know I fall into the 99.5% of drivers that
doesn't need it, but maybe one day .....<g>  I'd like to know how soon to
start saving, and where to rank this on my wish list.  So how much does it
run, and what sort of a discount did a group purchase get you in the past?
