Pesky oil stains

A tip I learned by accident - using a 5 quart oil drain pan with a 6 quart
engine.  Liberally sprinkle kitty litter over the offending stains then take
out your frustration by grinding the litter with your shoes (older digesters
may recall a dance step called doing the mash).  Leave overnight and sweep
up the residue.  Works surprisingly well and helps justify the existence of
the cat.  BTW, for those of you who may be feline challenged, a big bag of
litter for the inevitable only costs a couple of bucks at the local grocery.

So much for the constructive.  Let the character assassinations resume!
