Remember me....sorry about my inadequacy in knowledge of Beemers but....

Father owns a junk-yard......and is currently dismantling a '87 535is.

I have an '86 528e w/83k (for sure and a changed belt @ 56k).

If you were me...what would you change-over from a stock 535is to a 528e
if I wanted upgraded handling?  
Also, would ANY BMW wheels from Beemers fit this car?...or just the 90-93
or so 5-series.

I would be interested in knowing if ANYTHING interchanged....probably just
the Steering Wheels (if they're anything like Porsches [where each model
seems to have different suspension])
