E30 M3 starter repair

Has anyone rebuilt their E30 M3 starter with a Bosch kit? The starter for an
M3 is different from the other E30 3 series cars (here we go again...) and
BMW sells nothing for the M3 version, although other E30 starters are fully
supported with rebuild parts.
The Bosch number is SR440X. Any ideas?
