didn't BMW try to kill off their 4 cylinder models in 1986
with a similar idea
produce a 2.7 engine call it a 325?
kinda like the 2.5 being in a 323?

and they made a mistake
in 90 I beleive 4 cylinders
returned to much fanfair
with the m42 motor

and has been with us for 8 years
now we have only the TI
which will be loosing the 1.9 soon

humm History does repeat itself

in 4 years we might get another 4 cylinder, right?

in 2002 hummmmmmmmm.........
I wonder what they will call it???
