Sharked emissions

Hey all,

It's been asked occasionally if Jim C's chips/software is CARB approved in
California car's.  For the most part the answer is no, but most of us have
passed the sniff test nonetheless.  I just smogged my E28 M5 and passed
with the following #'s:

2500 RPM:  Max   My car
HC (ppm)   140    15
C0 (%)     1.00     .01
C02 (%)           14.6
02 (%)              .6

Idle RPM:
HC (ppm)   120    14
C0 (%)     1.00     .01
C02 (%)           14.6
02 (%)              .6

As you can see, no problem.  Now to get some plans and build my own track
pipes.
