Cheap strut brace for E30 and few Qs??

Does anyone have a source of new or used inexpensive front strut brace for
E30?
My '92 325iC exhibits a bit too much flex.
Also, unrelated questions: The car produces a distinct CLICK when brake
pedal is pressed. The click is coming from inside the car, either from the
pedal or the switch behind it. Any experience? Also, the power steering
rack behaves strangely. It has a very pronounced point where there is
almost a click (again, with the clicking :-) ) and the steering feels much
lighter. This happens about 1/4 to 1/2 turn off center in both directions,
and feels very disconcerting. No the rack does not leak, as the car only
has 33Kmiles on it.
