     After breaking a $60 fog light, I installed the protectors from BMP 
     Design.  They are a molded plastic cover that slips over the entire 
     light assembly.  A tight fit around the sides of the fog light 
     holds the cover securely in place.  There is about 1/4 inch between 
     the shield and the glass lens to provide some added protection 
     against larger impacts.  In 18 months, no problems.  They have 
     stayed in place and the lights are fine.  Also, the BMPD protectors 
     were about 1/2 the price of the Bav Auto units.
