Point taken on the 6800 rpm, but the valves are weaker on e36
325i only from 93 on.  92 325i had double valve springs, instead
of single valve springs like the M3 and 93 on 325i.

Also, 92 325i had 1mm thicker valve stems over the M3 or the later 
325i/328i.


But you knew all that.  You pointed that out yourself eons ago.  
I'm just jogging your memory.

Overrevs?  Been there.  5th to 2nd, clutch went in as soon as
I knew.  Hit maybe 7500rpm, maybe 7800rpm.

The head came off a few thousands miles later for other
reasons....no bent valves.
