<E36> Command Starter

Hello Everyone!

I am currently looking into installing a Command Starter on my 1993 318is
and was hoping someone could share their knowledge.  More specifically:
- -is this a good idea? 
- -will this have any side effects on other electrical parts in the cars?
- -which company would you recommend?
- -any other information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated?
