318ti -> E30 M3?

Hi. Last week a brakeless wonder in an '81 Volvo totalled my 14
month-old beloved 318ti. I would like to take this advantage to have
more power and think that an E30 M3 would be a nice step. Does anyone
have any suggestions or advice and/or know of any for sale? I am in
Salem, MA, but the NY area is an option as well.
