<E30> Electrical problems

How about a bad fuel pump?  It can cause an intermittent start-run/no
start-no run condition if it's bad.  Was it making a lot of noise
(buzzing from the left rear wheel area) before this happened?  If so,
there's your culprit.  And if you end up replacing the main pump,
you'll probably need to do the transfer pump (the one in the gas
tank).  The main usually dies because of a bad transfer pump.
