<E34> CD Wiring Question

     Bubbas,
     
     I just got a used Alpine CD changer and am attempting to install it in 
     my '95 540.  Unfortunately,  the power connector was apparently cut 
     off by the previous owner,  so I am left with a dangling BROWN wire 
     and a RED with WHITE Stripe wire.
     
     The CD Changer has a YELLOW and a BLACK wire.
     
     Could somebody with an Alpine changer look at their setup and tell me 
     whether it is BROWN to BLACK  or  BROWN to YELLOW?
