Dan is spot on this topic. I agree with the numbers he posted about
'reasonable' drain intervals using synth & dino oil. Running Redline for
3k miles is not my thing [might be yours though].
And Castrol GTX is just about the best dino going. Of course I'm not
selling any of these products so yada, yada, yada.
