Sedan? Coupe?

Sedan, according to the SCCA, is any car that has legal
seating(seats+seatbelts) for four occupants.  A coupe can be a two-door
version of a four door car or a hardtop, or more specifically,
non-removable top version of a convertible.  If a car is a two doors it
is still a sedan...but for distinction it is called a coupe or more
descriptively, a two-door.  M3's are sedans, two- or four-door, while
the Z3/M Roadster is a roadster(convertible+only two seats) while the M
Coupe is well, a coupe(two doors+two seats+hardtop).
