Clark,

There is no easer way to win and argument than to change what the other person
said. I sugest you re-read my post.  To cut to the chase: clean oil makes
machines last longer.  I never said it was economical.

 would agree that changing oil every weekend wold be cost effective.
 Therefore, there is a debate, not on whether to change oil, but how
 often. And yes, there is a difference of opinion among us engineers.
