<E36> Vandalized - Vindication!!!

Well, good news.... had a talk with the school and parents of the suspect.
He was apparently playing a "game" where he was trying to throw rocks under
cars as they drove by. Well his aim was a little high when he hit my '92
325iA 4dr on the back passenger side door, just below the plastic rub strip.
Anyway, talked to his parents and they said he confessed with no problem.
The parents were very nice about the whole matter and paid for the damages.
They also made their son come out and apologize to me. All is well now that
I won't get stuck with the repair bill. Monday I will probably work out a
date with the bodyshop. My car will be there for 2 or 3 days, but it's not
that big of a deal because I can borrow my mom's car during that time. ('97
Volvo 850R) I felt my odds of ever getting financial compensation for the
damage were slim but perhaps I just got lucky. Goes to show there are a few
honest people left in the world afterall.
