E30 camber setting

I installed an adjustable front camber plate assembly in my 325is tonight
but have not gotten the front end alligned yet.  I don't want to pay $35
every time I go to the track and $35 to get it back to being streetable so
I was hoping for some ideas on a setting that is inbetween (err to the side
of performance, not tire wear)until I figure out what I'm doing. Any
opinions are much appreciated.
