<E30> Plug wire life ????

Hello,

Are there any estimates on how long I can expect my plug wires to last
before I should replace them?  On my other cars, I would just replace 
them every 30K miles or so just out of habit.  But, as most of you 
probably know, BMW wire sets are *very* expensive.

I have about 95K miles on my '90 325iC and I think it's the original 
set of plug wires.
