Can someone tell me how big a socket is required to remove the oil
pressure sending unit from my M20/B25? I'm guessing 22mm, but I don't
want to run out and buy a socket that I won't ever need...
...can't get any sort of wrench on that darn thing.

Use a 22mm or 7/8" socket, preferably deep. This a very common size for
use on BMW's. In fact, most mechanics will require wrenches or sockets in
sizes 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 24, 27, 30, 32, 36 and
46mm while working on BMW's. I've also run across 41mm camshaft retainer
nuts on M30 engines. Allen sockets and sump bits are required in sizes 3,
5, 6,.7, 8, 10, 14 and 17mm. Torx sizes....well you get the point. I'll
probably be accused of being to commercial if I continue. SD
