i'm one of the guy w/ an alpha-n system on my car. and be honest w/ u, it's
incredible!!!! the best performance gain i've ever seen on the E30 M3s!!
well, besides the 2.5L kit of course!! i had it installed from Cyntex, in PA.
before they install the kit, they have to dyno test the car first & after.
and i've told that after installing the kit, whatever modification i'm gonna
put on the car, the computer have to reprogram again!! cam gear, cams,
exhaust header, etc. b/c any of these modification u put in the car, which
means drawing more air into the engine, u have to recalibrate the system, fuel
managment, to make it runs smooth, means correct air/fuel ratio.
p.s. am i rite, Jim C.?! btw Jim, i'm running my car daily too. and it seems
ok for daily use, besides the gas mileage. is there any drawback for the car
w/ the system in it using day to day?? and why r u saying that it's "only"
for use in the race car?? u can reply to me directly to my email account!!
save the bandwidth for others!! tks!!
Gary =)
