Counterfeit Conforti chips from Mesa ?!

Someone posted that the Conforti chips sold by Mesa Performance were
counterfeits.  I was under the impression the fake ones were being sold by some
other party.  I bought what I thought was a Conforti chip from Mesa last spring.
 Is it the real deal ?
