18" wheels

hi
has anyone successfully installed 18" wheels on an 89 M3
Also, i recently put on the offset bushing on my car, but the front end is 
still the same. My front end is quite off, as in the right side is closer to 
the back part of the  front fender, whereas the left side is right in the 
middle. how can i fix this, i took the car to the bmw dealer and they could 
not figure it out
