I can't remember who gave the advice, but...

Whomever came up with the great idea to break the BIG nut that holds the
front wheel bearings on an E28 by using your hydraulic jack and the weight
(if needed) of the car...THANKS.

I had visions of 6 ft. pipes, snapped breaker bars and all sorts of other
nasty things and your idea took about 5 minutes all told and very little
sweat or muscle.  Great idea.  Thanks for posting it.
