Stalling 325e

  What you should do is take your car to a mechanic..

  The DME on an 87 325(eta) does not control the idle.. that is, unfortunately
  controlled by a separate Idle Control Unit (ICU) which is prone to failure..

  Generally what happens is that the main power transistor becomes intermittent
  due to charring of the PCB traces.. when less than optimal current (or none)
  gets to the idle control valve.. it closes.. hence the stalling at idle
