<e28> 535 25mm swaybar upgrade / comments?

I'll be putting M5 sway bars on my 535is this coming weekend.  I'm
looking for people who have done this upgrade to send comments and
suggestions for completing  this upgrade with the least amount of
problems.  I have the M5 mounts.  I plan to cut my mounts off and weld
on the M5 ones.  I also plan on boxing in the mount for the link on
the side of the strut housing ( I will pull out the shock before doing
this).  The inside  front mounting point for the M5 sway bar brackets
looks a little tight, I may pull out the thrust rod  bushing bolt to
give myself more room.
