E30 euro airbox for shark?

Does this apply to the E36 cars only, or to E30's as well? I'm thinking of
sharking my iX if I can do it cheaply (whoever was selling that used one
that could be reprogrammed for a 3-series E30, are you still out there?),
but don't want to replace a bunch of parts to do it.
