<E30> '90 325iX Lighting system

Tristan and anyone else who is suffering from dim headlights,

I *highly* recommend going the H4/H1 route for upgrading lighting.
Hella and Ciebe are the two companies that sell H4s and H1s in the US.
The Hella lights go for about $40 a pop (a little lower if you shop
around), while the Ciebes are a bit more expensive (~$300? for the
whole set).

I've upgraded to Hellas and am quite pleased with the results. The
lows throw a bright uniform pattern, and the high beams turn night
into day.

An added bonus is that you can up the wattage on the bulbs if you
still aren't satisfied -- something you can't do with sealed beams!
Several folks out there are running around with 80/100 watt lights!
