<E34> ASC+T and Brake Fluid Replacement

     Greetings all,
     
     My new Bentley E34 service manual states that
     brake fluid replacement on cars with ASC+T is
     not a DIY job-  stating that special BMW service
     equipment is required to do the job.
     
     I'm sure there is good reason for it,  but can
     someone explain why it's not DIY?
