RE: Bleeding Brakes Alone--Best Tool?



This isn't the BEST tool, but it works: take a hunk of 1x2 lumber, cut a
notch  in one end so it nestles into the steering wheel, and then cut the
other end off so that it just nicely fits between the wheel and the
compressed brake pedal.  You can then push the brake pedal down with the
brace, lock it under the wheel, then go to the caliper of your choice and
bleed off a bit of fluid.  Repeat many times.  Makes those Speed Bleeders
sound like heaven!
