<e30> oil filters

   Quick question for the bimwads out there.   Is it okay to use a 325
oil filter on a 318?  When I order some 325 brake rotors for my 318i, I
forgot the mention that I had a 4 cyl engine.  Opps on my part.  The 318
and the 325 oil filters look identical except the 325 filter is about an
inch longer.
