Bay Area Paint Job

I need to get my car 1995 325i repainted because
it has been keyed all over the place. I would like
to change the color from white to black. Is this a
good idea or just leave it at the same color. Any
preferred shop in the San Francisco Bay Area
where I should get this done. Thanks.
