idle

I have an 89 325ia that I recently took to a local shop for a valve
adjustment.  Since the adjustment, the engine does not idle as well as
it did before the adjustment.  It is just a little off and not
fluxuating a great deal.   Could it be related to the adjustment or is
it time for new ignition cables or idle control valve.
