Rental cars for driver's school in UK!?

Hello Digesters-

 I have the opportunity to participate in a driver's school in the U.K. 
this fall but I'd like to find out if anyone has ever done this before 
in a rental car. I need to know what the liabilities might be if there 
were some sort of incident on-track in the rental car. For obvious 
reasons I can't get this info from the rental car company so I'm hoping 
that someone out there has done this before and will share their 
experience with me. Any leads will be appreciated. Please reply directly

p.s.- I really need info that is specific to the U.K. (England), I sort 
of know about the deal in the US with rental cars on track!
